Football Pacifiers

If you're looking for a unique gift idea for a footy mad family who's just welcomed a new baby into the fold then look no further than a football pacifier or two.

There are lots of different team inspired gift ideas that you could go for, by a pacifier is one that will really be appreciated for it's practicality as well as the fact that it's a football one.   Let's face it the last thing you need during a crucial play of the game is for the baby to start screaming!

There are lots of different types of football pacifiers available from the more generic ones like these -

These are ideal if mum and dad both support different football teams!   You can also get ones like this which can be personalized with baby's name and they're pretty special.

Now if the whole family support a particular football team then you have the opportunity to get their baby to recognize the team colors from an early age with an NFL baby pacifier.   These pacifiers come in packs of two which any parent will tell you is a great idea.   I know I always had a back up pacifier just in case we lost one and if it's during a game you don't want to have to waste time looking for a pacifier that baby has thrown somewhere do you?!

Stocking Filler Idea for a Classic Games Lover

If you're after a stocking filler or secret Santa idea for someone who enjoys classic games like Operation, Boogle and let's not forget Etch-a-Sketch then I've found a great idea for you right here -

Aren't they great? For anyone who loved (or still loves) playing any of these three classic games these pens would make an awesome gift.

The Operation Game Pen contains 5 pieces as opposed to the 13 pieces in the full size game, but the nose will still light up and make that annoying noise when you're unsuccessful.......or so I've heard (she says trying to bluff that she has steady hands!!).

I still have my original Boggle game, it is fantastic! Anyone who enjoyed this game would love the actual Boggle pen, I know I would. It comes with a detachable letter cube and timer - what could be better? The next time you're waiting on the phone for someone to look up the numbers for you you could be playing Boggle.......next week's staff meeting is also starting to look more interesting - isn't it?

The game that inspired would be artists around the world. Etch-a-Sketch is still widely used by children all over the globe. My brother is getting one of these for his birthday, he went from loving Etch-a-Sketch to making a living as a Graphic Artist! This Etch-a-Sketch pen sure beats playing on your PSP when commuting (on public transport I hasten to add - do not play games if you are driving!). The noise will not annoy your fellow commuters, but you'll still gather a crowd and when you want to start again just shake the pen!

What do you think, are these pens a cool gift idea or what?   Let me know which pen you'd like to get for Christmas, a poll I was running on another site had the Boggle pen well in the lead so if you'd prefer one of the other two then show off your allegiance in the comments below :)

Keep Calm Zombie Posters

If you know someone who loves everything to do with Zombies then why not get them one of the cool Keep Calm Zombie posters, there are certainly a lot of them to choose from - which one is your favorite?

This first one seems the most appropriate -

Although I guess if everyone did avoid the zombies there wouldn't be any cool zombie movies left and besides doesn't everyone know how to kill a zombie?   You need to 'keep calm' and aim for the head with either a gun or a baseball bat ....... well according to the movies I've seen anyway!

I'm trying to decide which poster is the best as my brother's profile photo is of a zombie which just goes to illustrate how much he would love one of these.   I'm leaning towards the Keep Calm and Kill Zombies poster - which one do you prefer?

Animal Print Messenger Bags

Who doesn't need a messenger bag? These bags are so handy that everyone can use them whether they're making a fashion statement or using them as a laptop bag, courier satchel or even a diaper bag. It's because messenger bags are so versatile that they are a perfect gift idea and these animal print messenger bags are particularly cool.

There are lots of different types of animal print messenger bags available from cowhide to zebra print and they are all pretty hot in the fashion stakes at the moment so let's have a look at some right now -

This first animal print bag is actually of a cow print.   The gorgeous black and white cow-print design is on the front flap and the back of the bag.   It's nicely offset with purple showing on the bottom of the bag, this is carried on through purple piping along the flap of the messenger bag.   In a word this is gorgeous!

Now we're moving on to a wild animal - the cheetah!

This cheetah print messenger bag is not only in the gorgeous cheetah print that never seems to go out of fashion for long it also embraces a butterfly in it's design which lets it stand apart from some of the other cheetah print bags on the market.

We're still walking on the wild side with out next animal print bag, this time it's tallest safari animal that I can think of - the giraffe!

This is a gorgeous giraffe print bag in a fashionable brown that is great for every day use.

Now let's go back to the big cats and this time I'm looking at the tiger with a gorgeous tiger print bag.

There are so many tiger print messenger bags to choose from that it was hard to narrow it down to just one, but I liked the fact that you could personalize this animal print bag.   There's just something about adding a person's name to a gift that seems to make it mean more.

Staying with the big cats we're now going to look at a leopard print messenger bag -

This is a very trendy looking animal print bag and whoever said you can't combine black and brown obviously haven't seen this bag!   I think it's gorgeous because of it's versality - you can use this bag whether you're wearing black shoes or brown shoes - and there's not many bags like that!   You can actually get leopard print in a number of different colors, but this one really captures the wild look and I think it's a must have messenger bag.

Next we're going to look at a very popular animal print - zebra print.   I absolutely love zebra print and especially the different colored zebra print products that are available at the moment.

I've decided to show you the traditional black and white zebra pattern and this particular bag can also be customized with a monogram which is pretty cool, especially for a gift idea.   The purple trim with the black and white zebra stripe is a great look and I think this animal print messenger bag would be appreciated by just about anyone!

I couldn't leave this selection of animal print bags at just that however as I've fallen in love with a hot pink and black zebra print bag -

Do you see what I mean? It is gorgeous (I'm a sucker for hot pink on my fashion accessories and in this case it really, really works!)

Which type of animal print do you prefer on a bag?   I'd love to hear your thoughts below, meanwhile I have to forward this post to a few people to see if I end up with a black and pink zebra print bag for my birthday!!!!

Now if these animal print bags have wet your appetite, but they're not quite the bag you want you may be interested in visiting Animal Print Bags which has a much wider selection and also a range of different types of bags, not just messenger bags.
